I it better to use a soft sequencer witht he mpc? The problem I'm having is that I have all of these sound sets on floppy. When I load tham as a program thay all go on seperate programs obviously. So when I make a drum track with program one, and then when I want to add a bass line etc. When I switch to the program with the bass sounds on it. It plays the drum track I just made witht eh bass sounds. Or is there anyway I can utilize all of these sounds? I'm lost here!!!! Please help!!!

well why not load up your bass sounds on the same program as your drums? when you change programs, its gonna change what sounds are on the pads. so if you have recorded something already then change the program, the sounds will change.

My drum programs use all A,B,C and D banks so their full.

I'll just have to figure it out like I'm sure all of you did... I'm sure there's something I'm overlooking, or another way to do it. Thanks!!!!

2kxl can hold 24 programs but only access 4 at a time.
you can call up the others in sequence playback via program changes done in step edit...

Drums on track one, trck one uses program one (drums)

Bass on track two, track two uses program 2 (the program with bass on it)

Read the manual about programs
