screen contrast

Hey I was messing around with my mpc and found that if I hold shift and turn the jog wheel the contrast of the screen changes... is this machine suppose to do this or did these funkers break my MPC while fixing the jog wheel???

Yes, it's supposed to do that - press shift and 8 and it tells you there.
