Looping trick on MPC2000?????

I've been told that you tweak a loop in the mpc2000 and make it continuosly play while you edit it(as far as adjusting the start and end points). I lost my manual but I don't ever remember seeing that in there anyway. I'm so use to editing in Sound Forge or my Sp-808 that I've been spoiled...If this isn't possible then that's ok too I still have the skills for the old way. Don't get me wrong but the SF and SP methods have opened up a whole new way of sampling and beat manipulation(for all you who don't like newer technology and have a problem or gripe with these methods) I only said that because someone told me I was cheating by doing them this way, which is not true because I don't ever leave the loop sound just like the original(I ain't puffy or JD). And if you think about we' re all cheating because those method make it easier to make beats right...well the mpc is cheating because all of the sounds we put into them are phony(recorded even if live)....we don't know how to play those instrument ourselves we're using newer technology which in this case is the MPC vs. Live instraments/skill of instrument). I know I'm get flack for that but think really long before you bite my head off....technology is only as good as it's using so if you're wack you're just wack with a lot of technology & money a.k.a. Mannie fresh, 3-6-Mafia, YoungGunz(yes I'm from Chicago too but they suck fo real) crap like that..... Anyway so at least help me with THIS question since my last one must've been too hard or else I'm the only one who ever has had that problem. So I'm shelving my SP-808 since I can't transfer via ZIP...Thanx

I wasn't complaining I was just asking a question and what's wrong with asking a question..or am I hating...LOL That's waht's wrong with us today is we don't stand up nor question whatz going on around us...Please don't post if you have no valuable input about my problem regarding looping. This was not meant to be a discussion about anything but MPC related problems. You need to go back and study what REAL loop points are used for in sampling. While the above statement correct you are going off about something that is not even related.

Repeating a phrase in a sampler is NOT using loop points.

I know what the REAL loop points are for and how to use them but that's not what I'm doing to these particular samples. I've been doing that before the article here was posted. But I was askin about a feature that i was told that can happen but I didn't believe it so that's why I was asking and the person told was the same one I wqas arguing with about what I wrote on the post, while I writing it. Ok so I made a mistake in the posting department and placement of the post but am I correct in asking this question HERE about the looping or should I say the listening of a phrase over and over.
