I need pro help regarding chopping/ this ever happen to u?

Ok I got the XL

Now I make a beat chop the sample into 16 parts. Ill put the first 16 on bank 1 the second 16 chops on bank 2 and so on.

Now Ill record the beat like I usually do untill I get the finished product. Ill save the beat load it all up and it plays just fine.

But I noticed that when I go to the program where my chops were, They are all rearranged onto different pads and banks, making it impossible to add on to the beat. This juts started happening recently and its starting to piss me off.

Anyone ever experience this?

Your chops will play back in the right order because the recorded note data will be right. But the pad assignments to those notes have changed. This could happen because there was another program loaded up with a different pad:note layout and all your other programs are stuck on that programs pad layout. The default pad layout is here:

The weird thing is, though, I thought that the layout was saved with the program.
If you have a Midi keyboard going into the MPC it could be transposing the MPC. Try disconnecting anything going into the midi on to the MPC and reloading your programs.
