What is the purpose of buying a triton with the mpc?

I have been told that the two can be used accordingly with one another. keep in mind fellas I'm a complete beginner. I need the right sounds to get started and want to start making my own beats with out taking or purchasing samples. What is the best way to use these two machines together, and if I buy the smallest triton will it even be worth it?

those are the reason to buy the triton

the triton and motif are the 2 most popular boards right now

as far as buying the small one ( i guess you mean the LE)
like anything that is LE its not going to have all the bells
and whistles of the bigger boards

depending what you don't get with the smaller board
(i don't know all the specifics) it might be a cool investment
(for a newbie) coming in a few thousand less then the bigger boards

but if money not a thing, stomp with the big dogs

If you got a midi keyboard controler I suggest just getting the rack versions of what ever board your wanting. I sequence everything with the MPC so I dont need to pay for all the S#*t the triton is expensive for. I Use the mpc with the korg TR-Rack expanded and that basically gives me all thr trinity sounds and lots of the triton sounds. I hook up a keyboard sinc it all up and have just about all the options I need to make phat beats(not including outboard filters/preamps/and secrets) but still I only paid $400 for the TR rack. There are lots of good sound moduals out there that are 3/4 or 1/2 the cost of the full board. And if you go used you can really get alot more for your money, expecially at the price of a triton.
