Last night I noticed the PARAMS button in the Trim window brought up something different than the program PARAMS. I was over at a friends and I didn't have my manual handy, so when I saw the sample tempo and new tempo feilds I thought this may allow me to timestretch somehow
Anyway reading pg. 133 the manual today I still don't quite get the use of these functions. What is phrase sampling? Is it just taking for example the beginning of one bar and the end of another(from the same song, BPM=same) and sticking them together? How would this be done to make it one sample? ZnEdit?
Thanks.
P.S. What do yall think about my new friend:

looks cool. friendly?

timestretching on the classic? it wont happen. it dosnt have that feature. if you're speaking of chopping up samples, znEdit would be the place. as far as "phrase sampling" im guessing it means sampling only a peice of song...a phrase maybe an instrument or something. maybe a short loop or something....

I still don't quite understand the purpose of the PARAMS button in the Trim window.
