Step edit... i've read the manual!

Hey, i read a post a few weeks back where Lamp explained someone how to see more events in step edit.
Instead of 1 or no event at a time... but can't find it, not even with search after going back 25 pages.... somebody explain again pleaz?

in simple terms: i wanna see more then 1 note in step edit is this possible?

2kxl, step edit screen, hold locate and hit the <step> buttons to move back and forth through the step edit mode. You will go DIRECTLY to the next event.

Or, you can just set your timing up to 32(3) and you will see every
tick as you scroll through the bars, whether there is recorded on or not.

i really needed that... spend all night wondering how i could do that.
