What is the cheapest piece of gear that i can get that has the same a/d d/a converters that the mpc 2000 has ?
are they the same in all of the mpc's ?
Is there any type of software that can simulate a/d d/a converters ?

Do some internet research on the gear/software that you intend to purchase and compare ALL the specs and you can get what suites you best, but sometimes you can't trust specs.
