Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

We are officially not an item any more. I mean the **** wasn't cheating on me or anything. But I'm sayin...the ASR-10 does things to a beat you couldn't imagine....girl is a freak. I officially am a completely converted ASR-10 ONLY user. Not an MPC user. WHO GOT BEEF?!?!?!?!

I've finally FINALLY gotten Reason to work along with the MP, so I really dont want another headache, but if the ASR and Reason can work together, then I might have to give it a go.

There is no MCD reader and the lcd screen is too small. But the sound is louder than a 2kxl and there are very good effects from DP2 and DP4.
Good stuff, depend on what type of sound you make, I think. (ASR-10 sounds like EMU's sampler, I don't like this sound)
There isn't an ASR users forum like here :P

The fact that you like one better doesnt mean you have to stop using the other one. I use an MPC1000, ASR-10, SP-303... but I like the MPC the best. Still, I use all the samplers in every beat. Its a different way to work.

Man don't dis your MPC like that. Use the two together they can make beutiful music together. I use an asr , two mpc's, an emu , an es-1 , a fantom, a spd-s And they all have their own flavor and funk to offer. If you use different gear in a song it gives it dynamics, that 1 piece of gear just can't F%#** with. Different character and swing. Try resampling back and forth you will be surprised in the sonic difference. Try it take the same sample and load it into both machines now take a listen, they sound different don't they? ......Use that to your anvantage.
