eb-16 & 8 outs

Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

eb-16 & 8 outs

Is it possible to use the eb-16 effects with the 8 outs? I can hear the effects through the stereo output (of the 2000xl), but not through the individual outputs. Do I need to route the effects or something?

FX signal may be routed as a stereo signal pair to either L/R, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, or 7/8
