Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi, I just bought a flash drive conversion kit for my 2000xl on ebay. Has anyone had experience with these kits? Is flash memory really that much better? Here is the link for the kit I just purchased, they said they won't be making them long: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

Is this a common upgrade kit that is available elsewhere?

Thank you

I had my flash drive installed 2 yrs ago. Had problems saving and loading. The only good thing is that it's fast and saves a lot of sounds on ur 1g card.

Thanks for your input everyone, new Q: I just got my 2000xl today and it doesn't have the 8 outputs. Does anyone know if I can take the 8 outputs on an akai s30000xl and install them?
