Hey has anyone ever had the problem where they couldn't select/change the pad # when assigning a sound to the 16 Levels Pitch adjustment? I can't get it to change from pad 4 ( I like to set the intial pitch at pad 8). My right cursor button isn't broken so i dunno what the problem is. Thanks!

when you hit the 16 level button, hit the pad you want to set the 16 level to before you press do it.

if you are already doing that, then im not sure what the problem is...

Just as smoove said. Hit the pad first with the sample you want to 16 level and make sure it is listed on top. Then use the cursor to move it down to where is says 4. That's where your initial sample will start. Use the jog wheel to to move it up or down.

That's for the classic but I believe the XL is the same...i think

"PROBLEM: Sometimes when I use the 16 levels button to have one sound pitched over the pads my 2000XL won´t let me change the "original key pad" (default is 4).

THE SOLUTION: Press shift and the "Note variation button, AFTER". Assign the same sound to the "note variation" slider and then deactivate AFTER. Now 16 levels tuning work and the "original key pad" can be changed!"
