Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

for some reason my mpc2000xl is giving off a lil noise when i have a zip inside of it but whenever i take out the zip the noise goes away right away, sometimes if i keep the zip in while making a beat after about 20 minutes the noise sometimes goes away by itself.

does anyone have this problem or experienced this b4?
is there anything i can do to fix this?

Listen to the girl.
My MP does the same.
I usually eject the disc after I'm done loadin', etc...

yeah that used to bug me out when it 1st had that happen to me, each time it was a disc was left in the zip drive after i loaded up my sounds. my guess is that it is the drive re-seating itself. Totally normal tho

What are you crying about?
I have to turn on my external SCSI device to use my Jaz drive, after a while I even forget about it.
Listen to a Atari Megafile drive!
Man, THAT´s loud!

Um...let´s talk seriously.
I know the floppy drive makes noise when a floppy is inside and a zip drive does the same, but do you mean the MPC makes a noise, too?
I haven´t noticed anything like that.
It only starts to whistle a little bit after it has been running for a couple of days.
