Zip drive question?

I hava a 100mb zip drive and i wanted to know if this would work, i have my zip drive hooked up to my computer through the printer port ok so now i have the scsi cable that i need to hook the zip drive to my mpc2000xl thats a 25male to a 50male cord now can i transfer my samples from my computer to the zip drive and then load them to the mpc2000xl or do i have to have 2 zip drives to transfer samples from my computer to my mpc2000xl any help

So your Zip drive is a parallel port version?

mpc will not recognize a parallel drive or a scsi parallel combination drive.

scsi only.

i think i have the right one i have the zip 100 plus with the scsi channels on the back is this the right one. and also how can i use this with the mpc2000xl
