Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

a i might sound real stupid im new to this but can the zip disk fit into a computer and can u just put any thing on it and play it on the mp if not what does it have to be and can you only take sounds off the zip or do you use the floppy disk to to load sounds

First off, have you ever tried to use following keys on your keyboard :( . , ?) ?

Anyways, yes you can install a zip drive inside a computer but te easiest solution is to get a usb powered zip drive for you computer. And yes you can put sounds on a zip disk via the computer's zip drive and read them on your MPC, but only if the sounds are 44khz 16bit wav files.

If you have the mpc2kxl then I would rather go for and internal cf reader in the mpc and a usb one to connect to my computer, zip drives/disks tend to be more prone to wear and tear then cf readers/cards.
