Saving

Got a Q.
Got a 2000XL, Now I want to save my beats, but the thing is, that what I played on my Korg X5D seems not to be saved. Is that correct? or am I doin' sumthin wrong..

I don't know if it saved or not...that's for you to find out. If it's MIDI, the MIDI notes should save but the audio won't save, so remember what sounds you used from your keyboard so you can load them back up.

I think the audio will save but the midi doesn't.When you try to replay the beat you have to have all the same midi data on each track for it to play back properly.

If you could can you elaborate a little more on your set-up.Are you using a mixer?what's routed to what?Are you recording midi or audio?
