Hi, one question.
I use mpc k2 xl. I f want to back up my 100 mb zips, with songs and sequences and program files and audio files assigned to them ... is it safe to back 'em up on a PC?
I know I would have to keep the same folder and file structure, but would a PC add some hidden extension or change file name or something?
This just to make sure I do not loose anything in case the disk dies and such. I am sure some of you do it, therefore some info would be greatly appreciated.
thank you

Use a PC formatted ZIP disk ONLY for this task.
Try and keep all your sample filenames at 8 characters.
I do exactly this and I back up to my PC all the time.
I also back up to CDRW just in case.

I do the same thing as Lamp. Copy the files to my PC hard drive and then I also burn them on CDR. You can never have too many back ups.
