No Sounds out of a program?

Ok this is wierd...I have a mpc 2000 xl

I bang out a hot tune usin the MPC in a new way so its freakin HOT

anyways....

So im pressin mad buttons tryin to do somethin with my keyboard...when I do something that makes no sound come from any any of the pads! There are 3 tracks using the same program and no sound at all! I have sounds on each pad as I can see from the program screen, but when hitting the pads nothing is generated. Even in step mode, press play on a note and nothing. Go into program, highlight sound, press play...NOTHING. HMMMM! So here is what I've checked:

mixer levels: all are UP!
mixer setup : Master level 12db
Track ON? YES ( no tracks are muted )
Solo = not blinking
Main Volume = UP

If i make a new program all is well. Obviously I saved something in this program and I cannot figure out what I did. Any help appreciated!

re-load the program or either check MIDI channel setup.

Go into your program menu hit drum anyone of them then hit drum again. This should take you to your program setting. Here you need to re align your programs to their right positions. What happend was your program got pushed aside and set to new pgm which happens to be a blank program.

What Blaze stated happened to me before. It might work.

The correct program is assigned to the drum bank....because in the program screen it shows the sample assignments. If i set Drum4 to the same program as Drum1, it works. Friggin wierd...but Oh well, i made more hotness =)
