MPC2000 SCSI Problem

When hooking up a zip drive or cdrom to mpc the screen where you decide what to load from just freezes on wait....
wondering if anyone has any ideas what i should do or if theres anything i can do

one thing to remember on tihs forum is... always search BEFORE asking a question..

look at the back of your zip drive.. you see two switches--set your "SCSI ID" to 5 and make sure you switch "TERMINATE" ON..

well i figured that out soon after i posted but still having problems trying to do it with a cdrom....??
