Who has XL with Flash ROM?

If you have a fully blown 2000XL with Flash ROM:

-Do you find this useful/convenient?
-Could you do without it?

I have had the Flash ROM for quite a while. It has been available through online stores even recently, not anything new. I hestitated to reply to the your post because I don't think the functionality of this item justifies its high cost. It ought to be more like $25 instead of $250 with shipping included. For $250 you could own a soft sampler! So consider it carefully.

If you use your MPC live then the ROM might be of some use to you. In the studio it will not matter much. Save your money towards an MPC4000 which has autoload off the hard drive unless you really need the Flash ROM or its cost is not a concern.
