Ram for MPC

I recently got some ram for my MPC. Its the right ram (72-pin EDO 60ns 16MB SIMMS) and I got two pairs, but one pair has gold contacts where the other has silver.
I once read somewhere that the MPC prefers one or the other, but I can't remember which one. Does anyone know?

i just copped a box full of old RAM for $3 from the local sunday market. If any1 wants simms i can test them and send em out if you pay for postage. im talking like 400-500 simms, of every variety.
