help wit this por favor

so i got two varying beats that i want to blend together smoothly....its not that i cant get the first to transition from the second, but the beats dont sound similiar enough through the transition...what can i do to change the beats gradually together and make the sound i wantttttttt.....

Step Edit and when you say :blend: together, at the same time? Or you want them to match? Timing, a lot of things can be done. I will let some of the more experienced ppl help you.

I'm not sure if this is a good way for you to go but have you tried transitioning off a drum solo? I mean muting all the other parts except for the drum parts and bringing in the new sound part after 2-4bars.

Take one of the samples from beat#2(a drum, a vocal, a horn hit, anything that works), and add it into beat#1 towards the end of the track(end of #1)

.........then when you transition into beat#2 - keep that sample playing so that there's at least one consistent sound happening before and after the actual transition.
