mpc 2000 - "not enough memory! ! !"

from some reason i cant load files to my mpc
that strange...
i use an old mpc_2000 without zip.
i use 1.44 disketts with sounds files and it wont let me load it...

what should i do...

Make sure they are .wav files that are 44.1khz and that the file name is 8 characters or less. If that doesnt work try opening them in a sound editor program then exporting them out as .wav files again. Also watch the size of the files.

Did you already load samples in memory? How much memory is installed in your MPC and how much is free? Page 120 of the mpc 2000 manual shows you how to fire this out.

from some reason theres no memory at all....
0 megabytes installed ! ! !

i have a zip drive... my it solve the problem
or i need to get a memory pack...

should i get mpc-1000 instead and replace this mpc-2000 to his owners...

Just get the memory.Forget the 1k and spend what?...$15-$20 for the memory.Instead of $700-$800 for something that you may or may not necessarily want/need.
