Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hello, I'm about to get a MPC 2000 classic. I also have a Iomega Zip 100 zip drive, and the zip drive has 2 scsi ports on it. Would it be possible to connect both the MPC 2000 and the computer to the same drive and have bot devices read the zip disks? (I have a scsi card for my computer as well.)

And one more question; should I (on the computer) format the zip disks in FAT32 format, or just FAT format, in order to have both the MPC and the computer read them? (just a general question, whether or not it's possible to share the zip drive.)

Thanks!

I'm not sure if you can share it like that but as far as formatting try Fat or FAt16.
Also you can format on the mpc and if you have another zip on the computer you can just load them there.Just take no action when you insert it on the pc.Check on Ebay for a usb zip...they're pretty cheap there.

Peace.

I don't think you can do this as far as making the one drive work with both, I have 3 drives, one is in my computer and one for each of my akai samplers.
