After years of seeing my brother with his MPC, I finally got my own. I've just been playing with it today but I have my first problem that I just can't figure out.
I want to assign the note variation slider to a sample on one of the pads. As the manual says, I hold shift and the after button and I get to the assign button paramaters page and assign tuning to that sample, set the high and low range, but the only thing it does is play the LOW range. The slider does nothing with the after button on or off.
What am I missing here because the manual doesn't seem to give any further advice. Thank you.
