Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

its all the time on 0mb installed but today earlier i did something and it cleard the memory...
i had 2mb free
but i dont know what i did so i have know idea how to clear it again...

when you turn the mpc off it will clear the memory.

you can also erase all the sounds in the trim screen. highlight the name of a sound, hit open window, then delete, then delete all. or something like that, you should be able to find it.

If you have 2 mb, it seems like you have no ram installed, that 2mb is stock standard on the motherboard when no ram is present.

If you have ram and you still see 2mb, you ram is bad or it's not seated properly, open it up and reseat it.

If your mpc has no memory left at boot time but has sounds in it then it might be that it autoloads sounds when it boots up (page 146 in the mpc 2k manual).
