Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I already did a search and didn't see anything on this topic and i'm definitely not new to the MPC...BUT has anyone ever saved samples on a CD-RW and used a scsi cd rom to put them on their MPC.. Only reason I was asking is because I was wonder if it was another option besides getting the card reader. I thought this would be cool if you could load the samples on your mpc and turn around and erase the disc and do it again.. I mean in theory thats how I think it would work but I could be wrong. I definitely see the advantages of having a card reader, but I was wondering if this has worked out for anyone.

Yes I have done that. I have an plextor ext scsi cdrom drive that a friend gave to me a while back.

Saved on cdrw on pc, loaded to 2kxl via scsi cdrom.
