Amtron: dont get your card readers there peoples.

First of im from Australia and the postage alone was $78.95USD.

So i purchased the IISDMC even know the postage was almost twice the cost off the card reader itself. Anyway Amtron confirms my order on the 18 July, I email them 5 times to get the tracking number with no reply. So today i rang them, i spoke to a Asian lady you could no even speak english. She went on to say they have not EVEN sent my parcel of yet. I canceled the payment on my credit card.

Are there more reliable places to purchase card readers ?

I ordered from shopdigi.com and got it within about a week from the states and it was 51 bucks for the reader. You should definatly be able to get cheaper shipping then 78 from them to and they will respond to emails. Only problem is they ship with ups so there was brokerage fee's but other than that im very happy.
