Anybody use a Triton LE with an XL?

I'm thinking about copping the Triton LE pro. Just wondering if anyone has this combo and how well they're working with each other.

Also, on the LE, do you have to save all your programs/combonations before shutting the machine off? That's one thing I don't like about the XL, you have to reload everything when you boot it back up. I wish at least it would keep the sequences in memory.

Samplers MUST save stuff to some sort of storage device before turning off. Nothin is saved on RAM when the power is off. Even the 4k has a hard drive to save to before turning off. Triton, Motif, MPC1000 has the flash cards, every machine has storage of some sort. I use the Triton classic with my 2kxl if that's any help. It's a good combo.

Emu Mo Phatt or something Roland. Sounds like you need a groove box. But on the other hand: Flash Rom in the MPC will retain sounds...

Yes i'm also thinking of buying a LE or a TR rack to go along with my XL also. If you make sequences with the LE and the MPC you should be able to do a 'midi dump' to dump all the LE sequence/midi settings into the XL. So when you reload the sequence in the MPC, it should also 'dump' those midi settings back into the LE. But with samples, you have to save them on the 'smart cards' (i think thats what there called in the LE), and on the TR rack they have a floppy drive.
