MfC 42 noisey!!!

Hi All
I have had my MFC 42 for a few months now and there seems to be like a static electrical sound constant through the filter when it is not being used.
Does anyone else have this problem? or should i take it back to the shop for them to look at.
Do you think it will affect a signal when passing through or could it just be a stationary problem?

Any thoughts will be welcome

Try swapping out the 1/4 in. cables with some others first. These cables are notoriously unreliable.

That noise was the reason I sold mine after about 3 weeks.

haha Well there is that. but not only. Mine made annoying static while in certain functions. Can't remember what, but it did.
