Can the xl read .MID extension files???

Can the xl read .MID extension files???And if it can does it keep the MSB banks or patches and shit. Because I currently use fruitloops as a sequencer with a sound module by using the midi out feature in fruityloops. So i'm wondering if the xl could read the midi files so I dont have to record all of my songs arrangements all over?

The MPC is primarily a MIDI sequencer, so yes, of course it reads MID files!
