I've started to sample everything with my E-mu E6400 sampler because it just sounds much nicer - a better thicker sound. I was then thinking of exporting the sample as a WAV onto floppy to load into my MPC2K XL. Only problem is that the samples I load into the MPC are automatically pitched up to +15 (hu?). Second thing is that the pitch is still much lower than the E-mu 0 pitched sample. When I pitch it up further on the MPC it really make the sample sound awful (particulary bad with triangles). Any ideas why the samples are pitching like this? Any E-mu heads got a good method for exporting samples to be read by a MPC 2K?
