customizing the mpc

i dont think this post is in the correct place but does anybody know what kind of paint takes to the mpc shell.or if anyne has customized thier mpc and has tips that would be good ceers

I'm sure you could get spray paint or air brush of some sort.I was thinking about painting my drum machine (in my avatar) yesterday,but I might have hard time,because I cant take the top off because the technical stuuf is attached to the front part unlike the MPC.

I just found out they use basf automotive paint

who is they? ^^^^ i wanna know who uses that paint

if you have a autozone or pepboys get yourself paint from there. datail paint for the knobs and such. And regular primer/mix paint for face and front panels.

yeah expecially the area where the MPC and AKAI logos are, they are raised a bit. prime,coat,seal-gloss . I would recommend buying a new cover to paint from vstservice because after using one for a while it builds up grease and junk on surface.
