Okay, so since there is a 512 item limit on 100mb zip drives I figured I would just make a folder for kicks, snares, hats, etc. Now each of these files (when I load it on the xl) has that root symbol next to it, and once I go into those then there are the programs (w/sounds) that I put in the files. But two things: First there are two files that go something like trash~1... and d~sto... or something. WTF are these? Also it changes the name of my programs from like "VinylHats1" to something like VinylH~1. WTF is this?

Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is a character limit to the length of filenames...if its too long the mp just shortens it to the acceptable length....thats all it means

There are compatibility issues between the MPC and PC's based on file systems.
