backing up (jaz drive)

I have tons of music saved on a jaz ssci drive that i created on the classic mpc 2000 and need to back up immediately. you know how you get that feeling somethings going to happen? i just dont wanna take no chances..the thing is im concerend about how to do it, as in the pass due to Windows operatings systems i lost everything in which the names were longer then i believe 9 characters..Cant afford for that to happen again..any suggestions or alternative methods for backing up...Any help would be appreciate. thanks

Save it onto a new jaz disk. I use floppies and i usually back it up to like 4 floppies so if one stops i can go to he next floppy disk. I do that very often cause those disks sometimes have a mind of their own.

Unless you have scsi card in your computer. You can hook up the jazz drive to the computer and send files to the pc.

For some people, that's an expensive price to pay, but I guess it's really all up to you. You have to ask yourself, is all of your data on your Jaz disks worth it?

Should I be worried about it damaging my files like it has in the past with the Microsoft Windows character limitation..Cause yes its worth it if i can back up my files..thanks
