i just bought a mpc 2000 and was wondering the quickest way to upload all the samples from my alesis sr-16 to the mpc

create a sequence that plays all the hits, as in it goes thru all the midi notes the sounds in the alesis are set to (check da manual, but I'd think its GM drum, in which case you just press the mpc pads in order), then go through once and make spaces so that the sounds all play "fully" then hit play on the mpc (after you midi the 2 together) and then record and chop the output from the alesis. If you save the sequence in the MPC, you just gotta change to the next drum kit, and repeat.
