ok im new to this shit with my mpc 2000.i was just curious on how to record a sample on beat with the click without really speeding it up to much and changing the sound as i dont have time stretch

change the speed of the click to the speed of the sample. Need more info to know what you are really trying to do.

Lay in the sample on the "1"...


let it run through with the "loop" set to "on"...

when it loops back to the "1" you'll be able to hear whether it's too short(loops before end of sample), or too long (silence after sample is cleared)...

this works best if you trim the sound to just the part you want to use...
