Help with looping a sample.

I saw this last nite and love the way the sample loops and fades out. I have tried to mimic the process on the MPC but am not getting anywhere. Is it possible to do this trick on the 2000xl, or would I have to loop it and add echo from the EB16.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

yep i think you can
first just use the loop function in the trip screen, turn the loop from off to on and change the loop to point until it sounds good
second, to make it fade set the decay on the pad its assigned to in the parameters function of the program screen
to hear it, just press the pad and let it loop and when you release the pad it will start to fade depending on the decay i believe

Thanx for the tip Fung45. I tried it, but I didnt gwt the exact results I was hoping for - maybe I need to mess with the delay some more.

Any other suggestions to through into the hat??
