MPC2000 XL compatibility with MPC 60 files

Can the MPC 2000Xl read MPC 60 files(.seq and .snd). I am curious because this Friday I will be getting my MPC 2000Xl out of layaway and I plan on keeping my 60 and hopefully using both. I plan to use the 2000Xl for sampling and sequencing and the 60 for sequencing. If anyone is already doing this please let me know a few pointers.

the instructions for doing it are in the manual

i havnt read it though cos i havnt had the need to
