can i please get an explanation of "PROGRAM CHANGE TRANSFER" and some example of what i might use it for.

yeah but i dont get it. i wouldnt ask without trying the manual first.

Program: sends a program change message on that track. It has two meanings depending on whether the track is MIDI or DRUM.

Every DRUM program loaded in the MPC gets unique program ID. Using this field causes the MPC to switch to that program.

For MIDI it sends program change message to the midi device. See the particular midi device manual for details on program changes.
