Saving music

Alright.... I made a hot track and tried saving it to a floppy. It saved it as Midi.... anyways, tried loading it after I restarted the MPC. Turns out it didn't save it at all. I'm wondering if I have to load all the sounds I used, and sample everything all over again? If that's the case... Is there a shorter process or a better way of doing it?

If you saved only MIDI file,the mpc didin't save any internal sounds,that's obvious (for me).
What you have to do when you want to save everything is:
1.choose option Save All Programs And Sounds
2.remember to save all sequences
3.best put it all in one folder with the name of track/project (no problem to find it later)

I assume,that you didin't use any sound modules (MIDI) or stuff like that,because if you did,then you gonna have to give some more details about the problem.
Anyway...try the above

And don't forget to read that chapter AGAIN in the manual that explains all the different files you can load and save on your MPC and what they do.

Yes, it's the exact same process whether you're saving to a floppy, zip, memory card, etc.
