How to fit an 8 Outs to my MPC2000xl from a S3000xl?

I have the 8 outs board from an S3000xl and would like to fit it too my mpc2000xl. I dont have the mounting bracket so i guess ill have to botch something together or ask some friendly neighbourhood engineer to create something.

How do i make the ribbon cable longer? Can anyone point me to some photos of this being done step by step?

It will require some modifications. But its your lucky day today because this was covered so now all u gotta do is search for it. I know i know u dont have to tell me. But just search s3000xl in the mpc section and see what comes up.

I have been searching this forum for a good few hours and i must be doing something stupid. All i can find is people discussing whether it is possible or not. I get from the posts that i need to find or make a mounting bracket (i'd worked that out myself with both units open). I specifically want to know about the ribbon part as it doesnt look like the removable type. I understand people recomending the use of the units together via midi but im really after an all in one unit.

Try to get in contact with mpc3000le he knows all about that modification stuff with mpcs. But whatever u do DO NOT SPAM him.
