SCSI..I hope somebody can help me with this..

I have a MPC 2000 and a MPC 2000XL...with one of them the floppy drive is readin "Disk Error" and wont even boot up..then with the XL...my floppy drive won't even show activity..now im not the smartest person in the world..*adjusts his glasses*..but i wanted to know more about the SCSI connection..can that substitute the floppy dive so i can boot from it and load sounds and drums from some source..and if i can wat source..HOPE SOMEBODY CAN HELP..

in the book for the MPC .. and soo many other questions that are
easily found by doing a simple google or yahoo search ...

strange ... but if these people were the slightest bit serious about the
craft of produceing music they would search these answers out ..

when i first got into music .. there wasn't any internet .. there was the manuals for the equipment and experimentation ..
i learned about sampling .. and MIDI and all that by playing with
me gear and reading .. asking questions of more seasoned artists was rarely an option because studio knowledge is like the golden grail and peeps werent giveing it away for free .... so you had to figure that issh out on your own .. but thats how you learned ...
these young peeps want all that knowledge but dont wanna take the effort
to go after the know how .....
