Just to make an statement that relates to your listing. That WILL NOT work with the mpc2000 without at least doing some modifcations and other work. So thats a no brainer on that.

I know what he said but his listing said "Here is a used internal100MB zip drive for the AKAI MPC 2000xl. It is easy to install..Just open up the MPC and swap out the 3.5 floppy. I am not sure if this works in the MPC 2000. But i have used it issue free for the last year (just upgraded to a card reader).
