microtech Compact Flash in ORIGNIAL 2K?

SCSI/CF internal microtech drive compatible with the orig 2k?
I've heard from both directions, was hoping my mpc brothers could shed some light.

Internal Card Reader is possible BUT WILL REQUIRE costly MODIFICAIONS and SOLDERING.

To avoid all that you can just use an External SCSI Card reader.

Get to work then. I never took the time to go full with it cause its just to much work when u could just use SCSI or upgrade. You understand schematics? I mean since u do work with electronics why not go ahead and do it? Good luck if u do jump in the water. Better yet get at Bruce over at www.forat.com im pretty sure he would have no problem talking with you about it though he may not give u much information but whatever he gives u may assist you.
