MPC 2000XL PGM Compatibility with other MPC's?

I googled this but didn't find much of anything... Which other MPC's could use a PGM file created on the 2000XL? I know the logical answer would be the ones after the 2000/2000XL but I don't know for sure since I've only owned the 2000XL. 60/3000//4000/1000/2500 Where ya at Laaaaaaaammmmmp????

How did you google? The search term "cheerleaders with big boobies" won't return the info you're looking for, mpc comparison chart on the other hand returned me this: Comparison chart

Don't take it personal, this is only internet remeber :-). I just made a little fun (hence the 8)) 'cause this info could has been requested and provided many times b4 on this forum, and quite frankly after a while it seems like we're always answering the same questions over and over again.

sorry you feel that way.... Yea its just internet, but I asked a simple question...but whatever...thanks for the chart.. I am still trying to see if the PGMs work retro with 60 or 3000...but so far I am thinking the answer to that is no.

A 2006 Honda Civic knows what a 2005 Honda Civic looks like but the 2005 Honda Civic doesn't know that a 2006 Honda Civic even exists.

Well the problem with that is....sometimes manufacturers use the same or very similar parts that are interchangable... so my question is still valid. In this case it would be programming. I ask this because I don't work for akai and have no way of knowing. Which is why I was hoping someone with a deeper knowledge of the MPC series would possibly have the answer.
