Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

The problem is my PC doesn't recognize the ZIP disk if it is formatted by the MPC. I tried a Zip disk unformatted by the MPC and I can open files and play complete MP3s that I have on them. However when inserting the MPC formatted Zip disc, it is unrecognized and the PC says 'Insert disk into Drive D' when attempting to either open said disk or drag files directly onto Drive D(zip drive) in 'My Computer'.

When Using Chicken Systems Translator, I am able to see that it recognizes the zip disk and drive, and Chicken Systems says to drag the files onto Partition A under said drive. However, Chicken Systems has a problem and says drive is full when it is not. I have contacted Chicken Systems about this and they just give me the run around and say they are working on the problem. Is there another translator or another way to load my samples into an MPC formatted drive?
Please help.

Always format on the PC if you plan to go back and forth between the two. Your best bet is to load the sounds into memory, then save them back to a new disk that has been PC formatted. And by the way... the MPC can't play mp3 files.

I have formatted on the PC, and the files are able to be dragged there. However, when re-inserting my Zip disc to the external drive and finding the drive on the MPC. The MPC does not read the disc, because it was formatted on the PC.
