SP:0A56 SEQ RUN STEP MEMORY

thats what my screen looks like. SEQ,RUN,STEP and MEMORY where just above the mpc`s F3,F$,F% and F6. I just want to no what this screen or if any one has seen this or something familar before. Take in mind that I might of had a few spelling mistakes the letters and numbers on the mpc where all inline with each other.

Seen it plenty of times.

Your MPC2000XL has crashed to it's debugger.

What OS version is it running ?

They played at the Astigmatic festival in Poland last summer.I liked it very much and I remember the 'big' guy with an mpc (2000xl I guess) on the stage :)
They have a good vibe...

I ve recently been unable to save .APS files onto my zip. A couple of days ago I tried to save a .ALL and .APS file for something I did that chopped a 2 bar sample into 8 zones. The .ALL file was fine but the MPC2kXL kept showing error messages when trying to save the APS...?

Can anyone suggest whats going on here, there isn't a problem saving any of the other MPC file types!

Please help I've not had any problems until know and I'm starting to doubt the 2000xl

i've gotten that screen after i had already put my sounds in and made a sequence or 2 then when i went to save on a new floppy i formated it and well that was the biproduct of it.

What error messages do appear when you try to save an APS file?

The screen shown above has appeared three times on my MPC.
I don´t think that this is caused by certain reasons.
Once it happened after 10 hours of running, another time after 10 minutes.
Once when it happened my MPC even played back all samples that have been in the memory during that time one after another, over and over, that was quite funny.

Error messages can be caused from different, weird reasons.
Sometimes before my MPC wasn´t able to save specific samples, unless I discarded a tiny bit of it.

I then had the idea that the data of the MPC´s files might randomly contain some codes which force the MPC to treat the files wrongly or even to crash.
