Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Can anyone tell me the simplest way of saving data on my 2000xl? Whats the chain of commands? Do you save 'sounds' first then 'programs' etc or is there a simple way to save everything in one go? Think im probably going round the houses & my method seems to be a bit illogic! Whats the proper way without losing data? The manuals sh*te! Thanks.......

You mostly need to save your
-programs (.PGM) &
-samples (.SND / .WAV)
-sequences (.MID 1 / .MID 2)

It could happen that you also want to save
-songs (.SNG)
-all programs and samples into one backup file (.APS)
-all individually changed data that will not be saved to samples, programs or sequences (.ALL)

Programs and samples can be saved together, but you may as well save both individually.
It doesn´t matter what you save at first.
