Protools Master & MPC Slave

Not sure if this search function works properly because I posted this topic before but cant seem t find it anyway.

Basically I have protools set as master
and mpc 2000xl set as slave

I have them both loop to 4 Bars.
I press play on Protools it starts playing, also the mpc starts playing

What I dont get is why the mpc will loop 4 bars twice then stop playing.
Then join in at the start of the next loop.

Protools doesnt stop though, just the mpc does then it joins back in.

E.G. Play.........1 bar 2 bar 3 bar 4 bar ...again 1 bar 2 bar 3 bar 4 bar....Then MPC stops for 1 bar 2 bar 3 bar 4 bar (Note protools is still playing.... at the start of the next loop MPC joins back in .... then back to square one...

Why? I cant work like this..

it works just fine, I even found the OTHER thread you started about the exact same thing...

one of which you claimed to have solved the issue...

I solved it using MTC but eventually realised that MTC wasnt as accurate as I thought. So I am back with midi clock which has a tight sync which never looses accuracy. The only problem is this loop thing.

yeaa ok

not answerin to ur problem but my 2 cents on midi sync:
MTC and midi clock are just different beasts, i dont think one is better.
if ur production is bpm based (as most of it these days) then midi clock is your friend.
but if u have to deal with ABSOLUTE time, (e.g.: makin a score for a movie, a commercial or whatever, or simply addin beats to pre-recorded, not always same tempo, or not clicked material) then ur choice must go to MTC.
